- Data from 1999-2002
- The study was divide into 3 periods
- baseline administration of ASA

- Period 1 15.1% received ASA (548/3635)
- Period 2 26.8% received ASA (1941/7236)
- Period 3 37% received ASA (749/2026)[9]
The Bottom line
- ASA in this study is being under used
- Protocol changes and education does make a statistical difference in the administration of ASA
- The numbers are still too low for all that we know
