- 325 mg of aspirin once a day for over 28 months was reviewed
- Aspirin versus placebo increase the risk of bleeding by 1%[17]
The Dose
- A review of 22 random trials was done in 2006
- The researchers looked for trials where patients were on low-dose aspirin or Plavix
- The dose of aspirin was 75 mg to 325 mg
- 1.3/1000 experienced GI bleeds
- 3/10,000 patient's experience intracranial bleeds
