| The World Health Organization (WHO) has declared COVID-19 a pandemic on March 11, 2020. COVID-19 has spread past the point of an outbreak, beyond an epidemic and now declared a pandemic. In short terms, a pandemic can be seen as a problem that is international and out-of-control. When a pandemic is declared, the focus of governments, agencies and aid organizations moves from containment to mitigation. With these actions in mind the pandemic can be controlled and damages minimized by taking immediate actions. | | |
