COVID-19 Novel Coronavirus

Origin of COVID-19, continued
When COVID-19 was first discovered it appeared that it was only animal-to-human transmission. In other words it did not look like there was much in the way of human-to-human transmission when the outbreak first started. A group of people were clustered together all with the same “pneumonia-type” symptoms. As time went on, there were a number of cases that did not have contact with any animal reservoirs but did have contact with other infected humans. This is when it officially made the jump and is now considered a human contagious disease.  [5]
