Importance of the information provided in ERG?
- Even though the provider may have prior knowledge of a hazard, the ERG provides direction following the safety precautions
- Remember, EMS providers are NOT rushing into the scene to begin with
- Be aware that for Isolation distances both orange and green bordered pages may be used
- Safety of myself and crew FIRST, so a safe distance is always priority
