Response to Chemical Suicide in a Vehicle
  • Survey the scene as you approach
    • Head on a swivel ensuring you are constantly looking around at an ever-changing environment 
  • Survey the outside of the vehicle 
    • Vehicle damage/Placards/Signs/Notes
  • Determine the number of patients within vehicle
  • Request the need for additional resources
 
REMEMBER: If the scene becomes unsafe, LEAVE! 
Wait until appropriate personnel have arrived and made the scene safe.
