- Starting an IV is not any different. The patient will still have veins pop up when tourniquet is applied.
- Blood draws can still occur without difficulty.
- There is no need to use caution with IV fluids and / or medication bolus. Perform fluid boluses and IV administration of medications as you would with a normal patient.
