- If the patient is displaying signs and symptoms of poor circulation and the LVAD is NOT operating
- Primarily troubleshoot getting LVAD to work
- If ventricular fibrillation, consider defibrillation
- Do not disconnect the System Controller from the percutaneous lead or stop the pump prior to delivering the shock
- Contact medical control or follow local protocol
