  • Diuretics
  • Medications to increase cardiac contractile force
  • Home oxygen
  • Common Prescribed Medications
  • Anticoagulation
  • Coumadin, Plavix, Pradaxa
  • Anti-hypertensive
  • ACE / ARB
  • Angiotensin Converting Enzyme
  • Lisinopril, Enalapril
  • Angiotensin-Receptor Blockers
  • Beta Blockers
  • Metoprolol, Atenolol
Certain medications above can have drastic effects on heart rate and blood pressure that can hide symptoms of distress.  These medications do everything from heart rate and blood pressure control to controlling diuresis and fluid retention.
