The 8 D's of Stroke Care
EMS functions primarily in the first four D's; a clear understanding of their role will facilitate the delivery of efficient and high quality stroke care. Even though EMS may only be involved in the first four, we need to appreciate the in-hospital "D's" so we can do our part to decrease last known well - door time.
