The majority of injuries that occur from the Taser" may not actually be from the Taser" itself, but from the fall the subject sustains after being struck with the Taser". As the subject is in the process of being struck with the Taser" he/she is unable to fall in a controlled descent. This uncontrolled descent sometimes causes the subject to fall quickly and in some cases to strike an object on the way down with a part of their body.
