Hyperosmolar Hyperglycemic Nonketotic Syndrome
Hyperosmolar hyperglycemic nonketotic syndrome (HHNS) is primarily a disorder of dehydration due to hyperglycemia.   HHNS is normally a condition found in patients with type 2 diabetes. Alternate names for this syndrome include:
  • Hyperosmolar Nonketotic Coma (HHNC)
