Massachusetts OEMS implemented a Behavioral Emergencies (2.4) and Behavioral Emergencies: Restraint (2.5) protocol in the latest version. Prior to this there were no specific designated guidelines pertaining to patient restraint. These protocols supersede MA OEMS A/R 5-500.
