Assessment and management would include:
- Pulse – does the extremity have a palpable pulse?
- Motor – can the patient move the extremity without pain?
- Sensory – does the subject have feeling in the extremity?
- Color – has the extremity changed color or tone at all?
- Temperature – is the extremity normal temperature?
