Anginal Equivalents
  • Dyspnea;
  • Syncope;
  • General weakness;
  • Palpitations.
These patients can be the “oops” calls of EMS. Patients experiencing anginal equivalent symptoms may be overlooked and under-treated. Atypical chest pain and anginal equivalent symptoms are often found in women, the elderly and the diabetic patients.
