| This actual 12-Lead is from a 55 year-old male complaining of chest pain. Notice that the heart rate is listed as 63bpm (beats per minute). In some instances, where the patient is severely bradycardic (has a very slow heart rate), we may not be able to utilize the 12-Lead. Once the 12-Lead is obtained you must ensure that there is at least 1 QRS complex in each lead as seen here.
