The primary focus for cannabis toxicity is to manage the presenting symptoms. Children especially may require aggressive airway management as a result of central nervous system depression causing increased lethargy and coma. EMS providers must always rely on building a clinical picture, asking the appropriate / detailed assessment questions and focus on managing any threats to airway breathing and circulation.
