Diagnostic Criteria
This is usually based upon experience. Experienced personnel can enter a room and determine whether or not the patient is in anaphylactic shock.  That said, there is a predetermined set of diagnostic criteria that must be met in order to deem it an anaphylactic reaction.  These criteria are discussed in more detail on the following slide.
