Case Study

You respond to a call for a 22-year-old female in respiratory distress. The dispatcher has sent both an ACLS and Basic unit to the scene. On arrival, you find the patient leaning forward in a chair. Her parents state that she has a long history of asthma but they have never seen her like this before. The patient is unable to communicate with you.
