- LABA should not be used as monotherapy
- The dose of a LABA should be at, or below, 100 mcg salmeterol or 24 mcg formoterol
- The risk of giving LABA to increase the dose of inhaled corticosteroids (ICS) should always be considered
- Currently, LABA is not recommended for acute treatment of asthma [13]
